In a nutshell:

A ‘village recreated’ on the outskirts of Ahmedabad that not only serves very good food, but has an excellent one of its kind kitchen utensils and pottery museum, live folk performances etc. An experience that stays in the mind till long.

Short description – in case u r in a hurry:

As we reached vishala, we saw a toran (gate) and a long path that led us inside. Once inside there was a counter where people were paying money and booking their slot. We reached at 9 pm and it was already packed.

It had a shop that was selling local handicrafts and handloom products. Must say the collection was very good.

A bit further was the museum. It had a collection of day to day use articles related to kitchen and food in general. It was on the lines of raja Kelkar museum of Pune. I wud say that the collection at vishala was more elaborate than the kitchen section on display at the famous Pune museum.

There was a section for pottery
