Keep driving thru the market till u find Wokamama signboard on ur left. In front of the building u wud find valet parking. Leave the car, get into the building till u see two huge wooden spoons. Take a lift to 2nd floor.

Short Description – in case u r in a hurry:

We had heard about this place few times & actually cud never break the inertia & land up in Nathupur – the ‘unknown fear’ of narrow congested lanes in Nathupur was enough to keep us away……………… till one afternoon we ran short of places to go & we ended up at this place. We realized that it was more of a mental block & it is actually pretty easy to reach here

inside the cafe

The interiors of the eatery is very beautifully done. A huge projection screen had sports channel playing on it. The nice looking colorful bar was visible from all corners of the café. The seating was in simple yet aesthetic furniture. Colorful artifacts were hung from the wall. A Large dessert counter attracted my attention soon after we entered.

The menu card was colorful & informative. It did not have too many options but quite a few very interesting ones.

The reverse side of the menu card had a very interesting write-up by the owners – pls read below.

The guy serving us was pretty warm, attentive, knowledgeable & nice.

Food was very good & beyond my expectations from a café .

Detailed Description – In case u have the Time to NJOY reading:

We started our meal with Mushroom cappuccino – It was Mushroom soup with porcini & truffle oil. The soup was relatively thick, smooth, good to taste & had nice flavors of mushroom intact, subtle flavor of garlic. I rate this 4/5

mushroom capuccino

Post mushroom soup we started with Warm mushroom cocktail – This was four kinds of mushroom cooked in garlic & wine, served in a parmesan basket, with caramelized onions as sides. The 4 different mushrooms were undistinguishable. They were all mixed up & the sauce was overbearing enough to kill the flavors & individuality of the mushrooms. However it was a good dish in terms of taste. I rate this 3.75/5 for not living up to the description. Wud have given a 4.25/5 if this description ,ismatch wud not have happened.

Warm mushroom cocktail

Next dish served was Devil on stilts – It was Prawns wrapped in bacon in aged Balsamico. Wow. Perfectly done prawns in the middle, wrapped with juicy bacon on the outside. Awesome. I rate this 4.75/5

Devil on stilts

For main course we ordered Aubergine Au Gratin – It was Layers of aubergine with tomato spinach & mushrooms.

Aubergine Au Gratin

Creamy soft mushrooms, tomato based sauce layer, spinach amidst layers of excellent seedless aubergines spun magic on the tastebuds. Felt like ordering another one … That too just after prawn bacon. I give this a 4.25/5

We also had Spicy Asian Black Cod steak with lemon butter sauce & assorted veggies. The fish was tasty, flaky & juicy – bursts into juice once inside the mouth. The veggies were crunchy & perfectly done. I give this a 4.6/5

Spicy Asian Black Cod steak

We also ordered a peanut butter shake. It tasted like peanut butter but had a huge texture issue. It was too thin. The whole creaminess & richness of peanut butter was lost. It was not bad though. I give this a 3/5.

Peanut Butter shake

My co-diner ordered a Watermelon martini – It was refreshing due to real watermelon, potent and enjoyable. Not too sweet, pretty balanced. It was however few Shades below say dirty martini or cocktails and dreams. I wud rate it 4/5.
