Short description- in case u r in a hurry

We got to know about this restaurant after reading an Instagram post by renowned food writer Marryam Reshi. We decided to drop in one evening to check it out. Loved the food & went back again.

Between two of us we could manage to eat 2-3 dishes each day since the portions sizes are good.

The cutlery is apt, unlike in many restaurants of Delhi NCR who do not have the right knives to cut the meat.

On day 1 we came across a serving staff who was new & did not understand much about food. We asked a few questions regarding the meat / sausages & got really vague answers. Day 2 we were served by a lady who was passionate about the food probably as much or even more than us I guess.

Service is professional & efficient.

The Amex card struggled for quite some time on day 2. The card was fine. The connection / machine was not.

Loved the food on day 1 & hence we went back for more on day 2. Now we will be going back many more times.

Detailed description – in case u hv the time to njoy reading:

Day 1

Tenderloin skewers were succulent, juicy, had mild burnt Smokey edges & were just too good to taste. Rate them 4.75/5

Pastrami sandwich had layers of really good meat between some excellent artisanal bread. Loved the texture of the bread. Rate it 4.5/5

Baked crab was finger licking good. We could not believe it. The flavours & texture of crab were intact, the natural sweetness of crab meat was retained well & highlighted as well. Loved every aspect of it. Rate it 4.95/5

Tiramisu was something we were reluctant to order. We were served a complimentary portion. Really good. Impressed. We don’t like most tiramisu in delhi NCR as they are lookalikes but hardly the real thing. Rate it 4.5/5

Day 2

On day 1 we saw Pork Bangers (sausages) on the menu @ asked the boy serving us – ate these sausages made in-house? He said they are cooked Inhouse. So we assumed that they would be market sausages. however later that day we got to know that the meat was processed Inhouse & sent outside for casing in intestine.

Loved the bangers. Juicy. Slightly lumpy. Robust flavours of meat. Rate it 4.5/5

We had onion rings as sides with these

Lamb chops were very good but we have had better at several other places. The meat was over marinated. Hence the texture became like murg malai tikka. Meaty flavours reduced. Juiciness vanished. Very good to taste. Rate it 4/5

Garlic beans as sides

Overall rating of food at the it averages out to 4.53/5

Will keep re-visiting & trying out new dishes.
