Short description- in case u r in a hurry:

We had heard about this restaurant for many years from friends and fellow foodies. Just had not made a leisure trip to this place yet.

The restaurant is located on the beach inside fisherman’s cove – a Vivanta by Taj hotel.

The restaurant is open air, with beautiful shades made of natural materials.

Breeze was ample in December – very enjoyable

The view of the sea was unbeatable.

Menu card was simple to read and not too long.

The service guys were very good. They took very good care.

The experience was memorable- will remember for a long period of time.
Detailed description- in case u hv the time to njoy reading:
Masala fried nethli was red , crisp , batter fried small fish. Batter itself was very enjoyable. Fish retained its flavours and juiciness. It was super crisp and super YUMM. Rate it 4.5/5.

We also ordered two kinds of Fresh catch fish – red snapper and sea bream. We ordered both full fish with bones

One had a red masala paste marination – curry leaves, red chillies and other spices. It had a charred effect, was very juicy , was full of flavours and was very tasty. Rate it 4.5/5
The other fish had mild marination, had full flavours of fish, the fish was fresh and juicy. Rate it 4.75/5

Lobster – kal yera manga charu was a curry made from lobsters. While ordering I specifically asked if the lobster Wud become chewy in a curry, I was assured it Wud not b. Else I Wud not hv ordered.

The gravy turned out to b outstanding- thick YUMM gravy with strong flavour of curry leaves. Just unputdownable. The lobster was indeed a bit rubbery and did not do justice. Rate the gravy 4.95/5. Rate the lobster 3/5.overall rating of the dish Averages out to 4/5
For dessert we had Jaggery and coconut kulfi . Thick, intense kulfi with full flavours of both jaggery and coconut. Super loved it. Rate it 4.5/5

Overall rating of food here averages out to 4.45/5
Wud surely revisit.
