Short description- in case u r in a hurry

I heard about this eatery from my friend Naoshad. Around the same time we came across a link on social media that mentioned this eatery.

So on one Saturday evening we reached PAC. It was close to 630 pm and we found that most of the food had sold out. There were only 3 items left in savoury. We ordered all 3.

They usually sell chicken and mutton dishes and at times some veggie dishes as well.

Thru the evening they sell snacks from a glass see thru counter.

They also have a long list of slow food items and meals for different days in the week. They advice booking a mini meal 24 hours in advance.

The store is open from 930 am to 800 pm everyday and on sundays till 100 pm.

There is a list of items written on a printed board. On query they gave us a printout of the comprehensive day wise menu for the month.

An elderly Parsi gentleman and 2 associates were manning the store when we were there. The interaction was quite cold and transactional at the beginning but became warmer as we started chatting.

As we stood and ate beside the footpath we constantly saw people coming in after office, getting food packed and going.

Detailed description- in case u hv the time to njoy reading:

Chicken farcha was coated chicken deep fried. I usually avoid broiler chicken as I find it to be tasteless and most things deep fried coz I feel it reduces the real flavors of the ingredients. Farcha turned out to be an antithesis- super soft , juicy and very tasty chicken with a super crisp outer coating. The beauty of the dish was the taste , perfect seasoning, a tinge of chillies, lovely marination and interplay of textures. Wah. Rate it 4.75/5.

Chicken cutlet was very good as well. It had the perfect seasoning, nice flavors of spices and was very good to taste. Rate it 3.75/5

Chicken pattice was a baked chicken dish with a crisp outer cover. Loved everything on this – texture and taste of the outer baked layer as well as the YUMM filling within. Rate it 4.5/5

Ghari was a sweet – maida outer layer and date filling, deep fried. The outer layer was crisp and good. Mid layer was just dates – no twist to it. Rate it 3/5

Overall rating of food at PAC averages out to 4/5

Wud get Bk here some evening to try the mutton dishes and on a Sunday noon for lunch…..
