In a nutshell: A cafe conceptualised by one man & fully run by himself as a one man army (one lady to help) – we had some really unforgettable, artisanal, small batch, hand crafted meats, cooked just right, with great attention to detail. I am not a big fan of Buffets coz in most places buffets aim at ‘eating a large variety at less than collective alacarte price’ & also ‘popular version that shud be liked by all’ kind of mindset. Among the buffets that have left a mark on my mind are – the brunch at 19 Oriental Avenue, Shangrila Hotel Delhi……………. & now Sen5es got added to that list.

The buffet here is of 5 kinds: Continental & Desserts, Oriental & Desserts, Italian & Desserts, Indian & Desserts – all for Rs. 900 per person (including taxes). The fifth option is all of the above sections – Rs 1700 per person (including taxes). Let me tell u that unless u have the appetite of Bhima (Mahabharata), u shud stick to any of the first four.
We chose the Italian option & at the end of 2 hrs we just managed to roll out of the restaurant – smiling.
Zooming in – Dining hall
As mentioned above, the setting is visually very nice – the three sections have their own visual merchandizing. The people are very warm, informed, helpful & nice. I just hope they continue to be the same in future once the crowds increase.
The food was excellent – what made a difference was the attention to detail & the passion to be perfect in each & every dish of that large spread.

I always like to get a grub here if it’s a morning. My comment after first several visits : “Love the breakfast. Also good things r – a bright & colorful decor, peppy music, fun & cool staff – they actually crack jokes at times, make u feel like u hv come to a cool hangout place.” Experience on my last visit – We came across a disaster of a waiting staff – worst than anyone I have come across anyehere in Europe / USA.

Had a breakfast set menu – Soft & creamy scrambled eggs with some really good bacon, rich & super tasty sausages, baked beans , grilled tomatoes & some really crunchy potato fries.

This place looked like a true American Neighborhood Food joint & interestingly most of the tables looked to b occupied by people around or those who had come in to buy at the mammoth Supermarkets in the vicinity.
So, being American, the portions of food were large & so were the drinks. Started with a large Mojito – was good, potent but a bit too sweet.
Large Mojitos
We ordered Appetizer Sampler – Loved the peppy mozzarella Cheese sticks, Were over impressed with the creamy spinach & artichoke dip that came with nachos, Cheese Quesadilla with bacon was good but nothing extraordinary, very unexpectedly hot & spicy, mildly sour marinated, buffalo wings with a crispy outer layer sautéed in an orange sauce – liked it.
For main course we had some outstanding ‘Signature Sirloin with Garlic Herb Shrimp ‘ & some not so outstanding ‘Grilled Shrimp & Island Rice’
