Rajasthan Stall, Dilli Haat (opp INA market, near AIIMS flyover, Delhi)

In a nutshell –

U will find it quite Good on its own – however, if u compare to Jaipur eateries, then this one falls flat on the face.

Meal for 2: Rs. 100 onwards

Cuisine Type: Vegetarian

When we went to this place sometime back, we quite liked it. We opted for a Rajasthani thali – a gatta curry that tasted very good but with hard gattas which might b compared to cadbury’s eclairs!!!!! A kadhi – again very nice but with quite hard pakoras that wud make noise if they fall from ur hand. A daal that was mildly spicy & a very good flavor of its own – really enjoyable & a potato curry that was not bad at all but not wow either.

Natraj (MI Road, Jaipur)

In a nutshell:

Very nice eatery with good Rajasthani food, good ambience & very courteous service.

Short Description – In case u r in a hurry:

The decor attracts u as soon as u enter this relatively small 2 floor restaurant. The staff members at this restaurant are people who have been around for a while – unlike the new eateries in Gurgaon where the waiting staff fumbles easily if asked anything ‘beyond the menu card’ (e.g. if u ask what is there in the chilli ).

With the motto – ‘When in Rajasthan, eat like the Rajasthanis do’, we tried Rajasthani food as we had heard good things about it – loved the food. Each & every curry was nice & worth talking about.
