Short Description – in case u r in a hurry:
This visually beautiful restaurant is located in a corner plot. It’s white walls, French windows with thin black frames and clear glass, yellow tubs from which green shrubs peep out, green leaves of adjacent trees, all come together very well and make this place look picturesque.

The person who designed this place has done a superb job. Massive attention to detail – both outside and inside.

The inside has a very woodly look & feel. The false ceiling is wood finish. Chairs & tables r heavy wood again – natural colors.

On the walls there r framed old letters.

Kitchen is semi visible. The non polished stone tiles on its walls gives it a character.

The staff members were well aware of the food they were serving. They were efficient and good.

All the egg dishes had two options – poultry eggs & organic eggs (those taste real yumm) at a slightly higher price. However, the server did not ask us whether we want the organic eggs & we too forgot to mention that. Result – the dishes I am sure wud hv tasted better but the ratings will b influenced by poultry egg taste.

The food was good & we had a very good time there.

Detailed Description – In case u have the Time to NJOY reading:
We chose Breakfast carnivorous platter. It had choice of any egg preparation from a list (we chose eggs Benedict), baked beans, pork sausage, grilled tomato, mushroom, coffee or tea, slice of house special dry cake………….. as per menu card

Eggs Benedict was good but not wow. The Hollaindaise sauce part was missing. It had a nice piece of bacon. The bread at the base was crunchy. The individual elements were good but overall it did not wow.

The benedict at Eggspectation is way way better & even the no bacon benedict at Choko la tasted better than the one at Amour Bistro. Rate it 3/5.

The baked beans were good – not tomatoee. However, it lacked greatness. Rate it 3/5.

The pork sausage was soft & feebly tasty (as compared to chicken sausage). It did not feel porky. It was just another industrially made average, pale, characterless, pork sausage. Nothing much was done during cooking to make it better as well. Rate this 2/5.

The grilled tomato was nice. A cheese drop on the top was good to taste. Perfectly grilled. Rate it 3/5.

Mushroom was good. It was sautéed in white sauce. Sorry I missed out on the picture. Rate it 3/5.
We were not served ‘slice of house special dry cake’ as mentioned in the platter in the menu card. So rate it 0/5.
Overall rating of carnivorous platter averages out to 2.3/5

We also ordered Chicken sausage for our co-diner who did not want to eat pork sausage. The chicken sausage was as flat as paper. It was a disaster. No texture, no taste, no flavor of chicken asw well. It was just a mass that wud fill up the stomach. Rate it 1/5.

Our next dish was Scrambled eggs with spinach and Roquefort. It was non uniform, lumpy, a bit runny between the lumps & full of flavor of the cheese. Spinach made its presence felt. Really liked it. Rate it 4.25/5.

The grilled tomato was nice. A grilled cheese piece on the top was very good to taste.Rate it 4/5.

This came with hash browns – super crisp outside & lumpy and soft inside. Very nice. Rate it 4.25/5.

Overall rating of this dish averages out to 4.16/5
The next dish we had was ‘Quiches Wishes’ – A freshly made (did not seem re-heated) slice of Quiche. Outstanding, unputdownable. The base of the quiche was crisp.

The cheese, egg and spinach layer was awesome in terms of taste, texture & taste. The topping of generous amount of ham was marvelous. Super loved this dish & rate it 4.75/5.

We had Fresh juice of the day – watermelon juice. Perfect temperature, perfect balance of taste, freshness oozing out. Rate it 4/5.

Overall rating of food at amour bistro averages out to 3.2/5.

While the score is quite low as per my median rating of restaurants, I wud not mind revisiting this place (driving 30 km each way from home) for the super awesome quiche.
