In a nutshell:
The shop is located near the thane station. It has a small counter at the ground floor which serves only as a takeaway. It had the logo of Mamledaar missal. The first floor had a large dining hall that was named hotel amantran.
Address & other details: Mamledar Missal

Short description – in case u r in a hurry:
We landed up at the parcel counter and said we wanted to eat. They said ‘please go upstairs to sit and eat’.

By the time we were leaving there was a long queue at the takeaway and an even longer queue on the staircase going up to the first floor.

The dining hall was squarish and fairly large. It had a huge picture of Shivaji in his royal court.

The chairs were made of polished cane and the seat was a plank of ply.

The boy serving us was very nice – he always wore a smile and he helped us decide on the menu.

Menu card was a long list of items without a description

Food was average to good. All our efforts went waste – however we had a memorable journey.

Detailed description – in case u have the time to njoy reading.
Missal Pav was good but nowhere great. As compared to Bedekar tea stall, Pune or Prakash shahakari bhandar Dadar or even aram, CST.

The Pav was soft and good
The missal gravy was good and spicy ( but not very hot) gravy but it had no element of brilliance in terms of either taste, flavour or texture. The sev was crisp but was softening off too much by the time we finished the dish.

There was a mound of mashed masaladar potato in the middle that was soaking up the gravy.
Rate the dish 3.5/5

Ussal was the gravy that was used in missal. Same description. Good but not outstanding. Rate it 3/5

Batata Vada (potato Vada) lacked the flavours that makes a Batata Vada great.

The outer layer was Also thicker than optimal. It was not bad to taste. Rate it 3/5.

Aluwadi was again good to taste but nothing stood out in terms of either taste / flavour. Rate it 3/5.

Butter milk was very good. It was refreshing, sourish and enjoyable. Rate it 4.25/5

Solkadi was one of the worst we have had after we set our foot in mumbai 6 months back. The kokum was way lower than optimum and that made the taste very funny. Rate it 2.5/5

Overall rating of food at Mamledaar averages out to 3.2.

I am surely not going to revisit. How about u? Pls feel free to share ur views even if they r different from ours.
