Short description- in case u r in a hurry:

The guys who run this restaurant have a good sense of humour – they play pranks on the customers. So no board of the restaurant outside the gate. One needs to get in thru good earth store. We crossed it and walked ahead, came back searching.

The restaurant is located in an old mill building with high ceilings, pillars and arches. The interiors are beautifully done.

The furniture, chandeliers and lot of things in the restaurant are also for sale ( by good earth). Same holds good for the cutlery – we liked something while dining and later went to good earth and found the same.

There is a designer wear store and display area behind the restaurant.

Service was very warm. Few boys seemed new and not yet groomed to the levels expected at such a restaurant but their warmth and service made up for everything else.

Food and beverages were very enjoyable. Loved it.

Gulab chia seed cooler – very interesting drink unique, subtle, unexpected . Chia seeds in soda flavoured with rose. Brilliant. 4.5/5

Orange basil caprionshka was very good but totally expected. As good as it cud get. Very refreshing. Rate it 4.25/5.

Goat cheese baked samosa was 6 pieces of triangular filo pastry stuffed with goat cheese. Loved it. The cover was infinitely flaky, super thin flakes, perfectly crisp and just too good. The goat cheese stuffing was very enjoyable. Rate it 4.5/5

For mains we had pan seared John Dory with kaffir lime and mascarpone risotto. As expected, the John Dory fish was super flaky and good to taste but it lost a bit of its juiciness. Rate the fish 3.75/5

The risotto was outstanding- intense, tomato based, yet not repulsively tomatoeeee. Kaffir lime made its presence felt. Rate it 4.75/5.

Overall rating of dish averages out to 4.25/5
Grilled Norwegian salmon fillet, soy maple glazed and with charred baby bokchoy, Chinese cabbage and broccoli. Loved Munching on the crisp greens.

The fish was super flaky, had great flavours and super YUMM to taste but got a bit dry and hence less juicy. Super enjoyed the glazing. Rate the dish 4.25/5
Tiger prawn with cannelloni- very nice tiger prawns full of flavours and great taste. Wud hv preferred it juicier. Rate the tiger prawns 4/5. The pasta was unreal – it was magic on the plate. Super taste, hint of sour, flavour of butter, perfect pasta. Rate the pasta 4.95/5. Overall rating averages out to 4.5/5

We also tried grilled tenderloin and emmenthal melt – loved the way it was cooked – juicy, bursting out with flavours and super YUMM to taste. Rate it 4.5/5

Charred pork belly with pumpkin wasabi mash. Loved the mash. The pork belly was soft, strong porky flavour and very good to taste. Rate it 4.5/5

Gooey caramel and chocolate tart salt n sweet sticky chewy was cheeky, robust and wonderful. A hint of salt balanced the sweetness. So did the bitterness. Rate it 4.5/5

Deconstructed Gianduja chocolate mousse with chilli ice cream was Intense, rich and very enjoyable. The chilly ice cream had a hot aftertaste. Rate it 4.5/5 as well.
