Short description- in case u r in a hurry
We got to know about this restaurant thru an insta post by food critic, journalist & author Vir Sanghvi.
So as lockdown in delhi opened up, we started exploring how to try out the food here. We figured that they deliver to gurugram too, twice a week, on days when they get a certain number of orders. Since we did not want to eat this food reheated, we decided to go there & eat.
Of course, the restaurant has not started dining but they are doing takeaways in addition to ordering thru food apps.
Our experience was excellent. We called the restaurant number from Zomato app & places the order seeing Zomato menu. We said we will come & pick. Immediately after, we got an Sms from the restaurant with details of the order & also a paytm QR code. They said we cud pay on the link or we cud come & pay at the restaurant. We paid thru paytm & sent a screenshot. Acknowledgement came immediately.
I hope this is not the new normal in the medium term – we parked the car in front of the restaurant. Kept the ignition & the AC on. We had carried a bunch of tissue papers, bottle of water & old newspapers.
We walked to the restaurant to say we have arrived. They asked us to sit in the car & wait. In 2-3 minutes, A boy came out in style, carrying the parcel on a tray & handed it over to us (no contact delivery concept).
We spread the newspaper on our laps, distributed the food & started munching. We were lucky we were not intruded upon by anyone.
Loved the food.
Detailed description – in case u hv the time to njoy reading:
Lamb burger was excellent – the bun was soft, perfect texture, nowhere tending to be brittle. It was fluffy but did not reduce to a sheet when pressed.
The burger was huge & was almost a task to hold on. The skewer was helping a bit & so was the aluminum foil wrapping on the sides. The meat patty was super juicy & nice to taste. Flavors of meat was predominantly enjoyable. Overall it was a jolly good burger. Rate it 4.25/5
The tenderloin patty burger was outstanding. Like the lamb burger, the bun was perfect. The cheese had perfectly melted, the bacon was just right, the patty was super juicy , lumpy & had a meaty flavor. Just loved it. Rate it 4.5/5
Potato wedges were very good. Properly fried, good choice of potatoes, right amount of seasoning, crisp edges & a soft mid. Rate it 4/5.
spicy chorizo pancetta pork sausage was excellent again. Cud not stop munching on this. The meat & the chorizo were not melt in the mouth – they were real. They were intense, juicy, chewy & just too good. Rate it 4.5/5
Ginger jaggery refresher was a lovely drink. It was really a refresher. Felt the ginger 100% & the jaggery negligible – in terms of flavors. Very balanced taste. Not too strong. Not watery. Rate it 4/5
Overall rating of food & beverages at tres averages out to 4.25/5
Look forward to trying out more interesting dishes in future.

Though I’m not really a big burger fan, but will definitely give it a try once I am around. And lovely read, as usual
Thanks:) not a big burger fan myself when it comes to burger chains. However individual restaurants often make very good burgers. They are miles different that the chains. The burgers I have had in stake & burger Stores in US have impressed me a lot as well. Slowly I opened up to the idea of trying burgers. Most people can’t just get the bread right. 🙂 thanks for sharing your thoughts….
