Short description- in case u r in a hurry
We read about great butter chicken served in this restaurant, from a post by our friend Priyadarshini.

So we decided to pay a visit.
Pre COVID spike in April 2021, there used to be queues outside the restaurant in the peak dining hours.

There was no dedicated parking. So, like others, we parked our car on one side of the service road.

The interiors of the place was flashy – lots of light, huge mirrors, shiny objects everywhere…… faintly bordering pompous I wud say, & kinda retro as well.

Jee Aayan Nu is a Punjabi exclamatory word which means Welcome. This was written in huge font on the wall.

The service guys were cold, mechanical but professional. Overall, good , I wud say.

Loved the food here.

Detailed description – in case u hv the time to njoy reading:
The portions were big. So three of us managed to eat only two dishes. But we repeated the butter chicken.
For starters we ordered Burrah

The Flavour was excellent – beautiful interplay of flavors of meat & spices. Rate the flavor – 4.75/5

The Balance of taste was outstanding. Taste just too good. Rate the taste 4.75/5

Texture – this is where problem started in few pieces. The part of the meat towards the outside was good. The main meat part near the bone was totally undercooked, Almost raw. Am sure it was an execution error by a guy in the kitchen who did not pay attention. Rate it 1/5

Average rating of the dish becomes 3.5/5

Loved the green Chutney that came with the kababs

Butter chicken
This dish had an Outstanding gravy – pale coloured (contrary to orangish red color in many places) , gravy brimming with flavors of meat & spices. The gravy was very smooth & everything just fell in place. It was just unstoppable. Rate the gravy 4.95/5

Meat pieces – we had choice of boneless or with bone. We chose with bone coz that’s usually way better (juices from bone add to the flavour). The meat was Super soft. Perfectly cooked. It was Not charred in the corners like u find in many places. Rate it 4.5/5

Very different interpretation of butter chicken than in many places I have eaten b4 but we just loved it. Overall rating of this dish averages out to 4.75/5

Garlic naan was thin, always crisp, had flavors of good garlic & was just too good. Rate it 4.5/5

Overall rating of food at this restaurant averages out to 4.25/5
I wud surely get back here, if not for anything else, but butter chicken
Finally you have started butter chicken trail😜
Yes, started but situation too bad outside. So maybe will be able to resume after few months
Try chilli chicken with bone, scarcity in Delhi NCR, much bette than boneless version offered in Delhi NCR
Thanks for the suggestion. Will try
