Short Description – In case u r in a hurry:
Atlantic Salmon Steak was mouthwatering good – grilled & served with Lemon Butter sauce. Lemon tart was good but we’ve had better. Serving staff were bit less attentive or were plain overworked……. we really had to make efforts to make eye contact & wave to get something!!!!
Detailed Description – In case u have time to enjoy reading:
While we had the option of the buffet that most other guests seemed to be preferring, we went for alacarte.
Ordered Atlantic Salmon steak with Lemon Butter sauce. As the food was served, we were busy talking to a friend – so missed the fact the the guy had served the steak & the sauce separately. The steak was super good – charred mildly from atop, soft, juicy inside with the pink flakes of the salmon separating out & almost melting in the mouth. When we realized the mistake midway, we poured the sauce & that was heavenly …….. made a good salmon better , best & bestest:) In hindsight it seems it was good that we missed the sauce initially – we tasted both ways & that speaks of the immensely good quality of the fish & also the skill of the chef.
A lemon tart ended the meal – good but a bit too strong on both sourness & sweetness.
The staff of the place had something strange about them … they were semi – smiling at times…. I dont know what they were saving the smiles for, were serving water very miserly (seemed like they all had seen the movie ‘127 DAYS’ the previous night), breads served were cold and so on….. experience cud have been better.
Overall – Chef is a genius & the serving staff has a long way to go.
Give a good treat 2 ur tastebuddies when ur credit card is not behaving bad with u:)
