Short description – in case u r in a hurry:
I came to know about this eatery from a colleague who has been visiting this place for years.

The restaurant is located in corner of a building right opposite regal cinema Colaba. The restaurant has high ceilings, a lot of wood, an old world feel and loads of framed pics on the wall.

The interiors r very tastefully done.

Service was pretty god. The boys knew the food well. Since they make most food from scratch, they take time to serve food.

Menu card was a 2 pager. It was descriptive and easy to read thru.

Loved the food. Visited twice already. Will get bk real soon.

Detailed description – in case u hv the time to njoy reading:
Day 1
Poached pear salad with goat cheese, walnuts and arugula. This salad was as good as the salads at our favourite cafe in gurgaon – Di Ghent cafe.

Loved munching on the crunchy greens with great dressing. The poached pear was outstanding. Loved every bit of it. Rate it 4.5/5

Spotted cow Camembert cheese with kale leaves on a thin crust pizza. The pizza was made from scratch – it had a great crust. The pizza base was crispy.

The pizza topping was juicy in every bite till the end. The Kale leaves tasted awesome. In general it was an excellent pizza . Rate it 4.5/5

Spinach and goat cheese risotto with grilled tiger prawns. The risotto sauce was very nice to taste and had a creamy texture. Flavours of goat cheese and spinach made their presence felt.

The grilled prawns were just outstanding soft n juicy and super yumm to taste. It managed to retain its flavours. Rate it 4.5/5

Pecan pie with spiked toffee sauce was excellent as well. The crust of the pie was crispy but not too dry.

The toffee sauce was a bit caramelised pecan was excellent – overall a great dish. Rate it 4.5/5

Overall rating of food on Day 1 at this restaurant averages out to 4.5/5
Day 2 –
Butter garlic Crab bruschetta with flame roasted peppers – the crab was very fresh, immensely juicy, full of flavours of crab.

Roasted pepper added to flavours and taste while not interfering with the crab. The bruschetta base was super crisp. Overall it was an outstanding dish. Rate it 4.5/5

Squid bolognaise, fine herb buttered squid served with a rich tenderloin bolognaise was an unbelievable dish.

The squid was cut and served like pasta and tenderloin was placed in the center. Have not had better squids in india so far. These were almost melt in the mouth, not rubbery, not brittle. Great flavours and awesome taste of fresh squids.

The tenderloin mince was hand made and hence they were big, lumpy and uneven and that gave character and robustness to the meat. Flavours of meat were restored. Awesome dish. Rate it 4.95/5. Memorable.

Ground pork burger with sunny side up came in two halves as requested by us. So they cud not layer it with the sunny side up.

The patty was very juicy, had robust flavour of the meat and was soft and lumpy. Super loved it. The bun was outstanding. It had a crisp outer layer that was brittle and was cracking off.

The bread inside was soft but not sticky like the usual maida buns. Excellent burger overall. Do not remember having any burger even close to this in delhi NCR outside of the 5 stars. Rate the burger 4.75/5

Homemade ginger ale was served with a roll of Japanese style pickled ginger gari on top. It was strong and had a distinct character of its own. Way way better than the bottled versions. Rate it 4.25/5

Sangria ( mock) was good to taste but nowhere compared to the sangria at Pintxo gurgaon. In the latter the fruit infuses into the drink and the drink becomes something else.

The sangria here was good to taste but the fruits had not infused well. Rate it 3/5.

For dessert we had crepes with caramelised banana, Choco chips and rum butter sauce.

The banana was slightly overripe which increased the banana – ee flavour. If one is not fond of it , he/she may not like it. Rum butter sauce was made Inhouse and was outstanding.

The Choco chips were somewhat dark and that added to the twist in the taste. The caramelisation added a bitter sweet taste. The crepe had salt in it. Thus it was a grand medley of tastes and flavours on the taste buds. Rate it 4.95/5
