Short description- in case u r in a hurry

We got to know about the restaurant when my sister told us about a marvellous seafood pizza she had here after hearing of our great seafood pizza experience at Vivanta by Taj president, Cuffe Parade, mumbai.

So we decided to visit this place for lunch (hoping we Wud b able to eat quite a few varieties of food).

The restaurant, like all others in the hotel, had very high ceiling and I just loved that feeling of not sitting in a claustrophobic low ceiling place.

The service was very good. The guys took care.

The menu card was very easy to read and understand.

Loved the food.

Detailed description – in case u hv the time to njoy reading:

As we sat, we were served freshly baked warm bread that had a crisp top and was super soft inside. It had a lovely fermented feel as we Wud break the bread. Rate it 4.5/5

With this was served a tomato based accompaniment that was just outstanding. We kept on eating that till we polished off the bowl white – as if it was empty. Rate it 4.5/5

Before we even opened the menu card we ordered the seafood pizza. Loved the feel of Formaggio and cream cheese – juicy and nice layer of cheese atop a super thin crust.

If the Population Density of seafood in the seafood pizza at Taj was like New York Times Square during Christmas / Suruchi sangha Durga pujo pandal kolkata / Rajeev Chowk metro station delhi at 7pm in the evening , the Population density of seafood in seafood pizza at celini was like the same places at 5am in the morning!!!!

I would have liked a bit more seafood on top to have something in every bite. However the brilliance of the pizza made me ignore that aspect and appreciate the pizza overall. Rate it 4.5/5

Seafood soup was beyond the pieces of seafood and that was the beauty. It was tomatoful but not tomatoeeee. The flavours of lobster and crab made their presence felt in the soup. Seasoning was perfect. Lovely balance between salt, sour of tomato, natural sweetness of crab. Rate it 4.5/5

For dessert we had lemon merengue millefoglie. The extreme sourness of lemon and a hint of bitterness made it stand out. A bite of this with a bite of the traditional sweet cream cake was like a Brilliant combination. Rate it 4.25/5

Overall rating averages out to 4.4/5

Look forward to revisiting to try out more dishes.
