Short description – in case u r in a hurry:
We read about this restaurant on the social media. Many people who hv been here warned that it will b very crowded.

The day we went, we had a short waiting and we got a place to sit on little time.
The service boys started serving one dish after the other in the traditional thali set up – a large stainless steel plate with many small bowls placed on it.

The boys were all pretty young and were playfully doing the job with a smile on their face. They were also having fun within themselves – cracking a joke maybe, while crossing another guy and both dispersing with larger smiles and occasional laughter.
The interiors were pretty well maintained. There were sets of tables for 4 in the dining hall.
Service was efficient and fast. The guys took care of guests pretty well ….
Food was very good. Better than another place we visited the next day.
Detailed description- in case u hv the time to njoy reading.
They only have unlimited thalis. Like in most thali places, there were curries, breads, farsan, chaanch, desserts.
The Paneer curry was excellent. The paneer was in small pieces and the gravy was minimal. The balance of the dish was too good. Taste was YUMM. Rate it 4.5/5

Cabbage curry was good but I have surely had way better cabbage curries. It was good in terms of balance of taste, level of spices etc but not wow. Rate it 3/5

Aloo curry was super good. It had a gravy and a sweetish tinge to it. Rate it 4.25/5

Chana curry ( black gram) was excellent again. The chana was perfectly done ( soft yet firm enough to retain shape and texture). Rate it 4.5/5

Sooji sheera was served as dessert. This was suboptimally sweet, did not hv full blown flavours of ghee. It was ok but not great. Rate This 3/5

Khaman was excellent. It was soft and if perfect texture. It was a bit spiced up and tasted excellent. Rate it 4.5/5

Sabudana Vada – if one eats sabudana vada here for the first time, they wud like it. However anyone who has tasted this dish in the likes of Prakash shahakari bhandar and Vinay health home wud know the difference. Rate the dish 3/5

Sweet samosa was served as dessert. It was mini samosa with coconut and reduced milk filling and dunked in sugar syrup. Rate it 4/5

Bhakri (bread) with a spoonful of ghee on top tasted excellent. Rate it 4.5/5

Biscuit bhakri was not crisp. It’s taste was good. Rate it 2.5/5
Basket chaat was like a smaller version of a chaat inside an edible deep fried basket. It was very YUMM. Rate it 4.5/5

Basundi , another dessert was very nice. It was thick n sweet. Rate it 4.25/5

Daal was a bit lower than very good. It was uniform and did not have a distinct texture. It was tasting a bit over sweet as it was low on salt 3.75/5

Kadhi was excellent. It was a sweet kadhi served hot. Loved every bit of it. Rate it 4.5/5

Loved the Chaas & rate it 4.5/5.

Khichadi was served with a lot of ghee on top. Tasted very good. 4.25/5

Overall rating of food at sasuma averages out to 4/5
Wud b nice to revisit in some time
