…………. for the CHEF in u

Bored with the orange tandoori masala & yearning for more? ………. & that also at a time when the weather is just about appropriate for barbeque?
So read on…………………
While u can buy the tandoori masala from the market for making tandoori kababs, here I will b telling how u can create an interesting marinade that can b used for paneer or fish or chicken – as per ur preferences.
Choose fresh dhania (corainder) & pudina (mint) leaves, about 2 big bunches each. Wash these thoroughly to ensure that all dust & dirt have been terminated. Put the leaves with 4-5 big fat cloves of garlic & green chillies (to ur taste) in a blender jar.

Even if I do not tell u, I am sure u will add salt to taste.
Add couple of tablespoons of olive oil & blend all the above into a smooth paste.

Marinate the fish or chicken (the above paste is good 1 kilo of meat/ paneer/ fish) in salt & lemon juice for at least a good half hour. Drain off the liquid & add the green paste.
U can skip the lemon & salt stage for the paneer & straight away marinate in the green paste.
Let this marinate in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours & post that head straight for the barbeque……………….. u will surely add a lot of feathers to ur cap.

Wondering – is it just that simple? Can’t believe it!!!!………… Well, just try it on the tawa before the big barbeque with friends & u will not b surprised at the outstanding taste of this simple preparation.
I feel Masterchef ANONYMOUS should write more often
